Tax Senior - Advisory

Due to sustained growth, an opportunity has arisen for an ambitious and motivated Corporate Tax Senior Manager/Associate Director to join our team based out of any of our Taunton, Exeter or Bath offices.
This position will require the individual to organise their own time, support the group in an advisory role working across all areas of the business providing added value to our clients, alongside management of the corporate tax compliance function.
About the Role
Working closely with Directors and Tax Associates, you will deliver mix of tax compliance and advisory services, with a focus on personal, partnership and trust tax and assist with advisory projects in line with your development in the role. The role includes a significant amount of client contact and will develop your ability to manage client relationships. Due to the sustained growth of the firm, this is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure across a wide portfolio of clients and range of taxes and grow your tax career without limits.
Responsibilities will include:
· Preparing complex personal, trust and partnership tax returns,
· Review of tax returns prepared by junior staff,
· Liaising with clients and HMRC to deliver tax compliance services,
· Drafting client communications on both compliance and advisory work,
· Assisting other members of the wider firm with tax queries and training,
· Assisting in managing the delivery of project work.
· Other ad hoc work including involvement in P11D and ATED reporting.
About you
You will be studying or qualified in any of ATT/CTA/ACA/ACCA and will have at least three years’ experience in a Personal or Mixed/OMB tax focused role. Previous experience with trust tax compliance is highly valued but not essential as training will be provided.
Importantly, you will be a confident, ambitious character who is driven to learn and progress in a career in tax practice. You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and a positive attitude to problem solving.
