Duncan Nicholas FCA

Duncan joined Moore Scarrott in early 2015 after spending 17 years in a mid-tier firm, where he progressed from trainee to Director level.

Duncan has a vast knowledge of businesses spanning a huge variety of sectors, having spent his career advising clients ranging from small start-up businesses to large multi-national groups.

His client base remains similarly diverse but the quality of his advice remains consistently high in providing business support and tax planning services to owner managed businesses, in addition to acting as compliance officer for the Moore Scarrott group, with responsibility for overseeing all of the compliance services provided by the firm.

Duncan has sat on Boards acting as Interim Finance Director, and places a great value in developing long-lasting relationships with his clients, while offering a commercial and pragmatic approach in his advice.

Having grown up in the South West, Duncan lives in Somerset with his wife and two children and enjoys spending time with his family, reading and playing (or more often watching) sport.
